An ambitious man named Tariq saw his chance to escape a life of crime when a grand palace was built near his impoverished neighborhood in Jeddah. However, after becoming a servant to the enigmatic Master who runs the palace, Tariq realizes it's not the luxurious life he had hoped for. Now, thirty years later, he feels trapped as he carries out the Master's cruel orders, grapples with his feelings for the Master's mistress, and resists his brother's pleas to return home.
